We are a Survival Multiplayer server that allows raiding, griefing, and cater more towards an adult audience. Although we do NOT shun a younger crowd.
All of the commands on the server are 100% vanilla and are run by either through command blocks or our text wrapper. We do not support any plugins on the server.
The map has a 1 Million Block diameter, which makes it 500k Blocks from the 0,0,0 mark.
By typing .vote on the server you can bring up the voting links to be able to support the server with a few benefits.
These benefits include:
Vote for Vnlla at MCSL
Vote for Vnlla at Planet Minecraft
Vote for Vnlla at Minecraft-MP
Vote for Vnlla at MinecraftServers.org
We do NOT support ranks on the server. The closest things we have to ranks is a server VIP player & Veteran.
You get VIP by voting on our four voting sites. Once you hit 25 Votes, you will receive VIP for a period of 30 days.
You get Veteran by voting on our voting sites. Once you hit 60 Votes, you will receive Veteran for a period of 30 days.
You are allowed up to a total of 150 Entities at your base and a total of 100 Entities in your view distance. We limit the number of Entities a player may have at their base because of the limitations of being a vanilla server. Vanilla minecraft simply is not able to support a large number of Entities on a multiplayer server, along with a large number of players currently playing, without noticeably lagging.
To check how many Entities are at your base you need to push F3 and look down to the 4th Row from the Top Left Corner of your screen. There you will see an E. The first number after that E is the total number of Entities in your view distance & the first number after the : is the total number of Entities at your base.
We do NOT allow any mods on the server, however, we do allow the Optifine client. This is to keep the server a balanced playing experience for all players.
You are allowed to post an application in the General section on the forum, however, you should not keep your fingers crossed as we are extremely picky about our staff. As a side note, do NOT ask any staff members for staffing privileges, it could get you banned.
You should make an appeal on our forums and be patient for a staff member to answer your appeal.
DO NOT ATTEMPT TO SIGN BACK ONTO THE SERVER UNDER AN ALTERNATE ACCOUNT! It will simply NOT work and will only ensure your ban remains.
This is again due to the limitations of a Vanilla server. In order to cut back on the lag as much as we can, we prohibit traveling on top of the Nether.
We have a .report feature to be able to report a hacker. You simply type in the chat
.report <Username> <Reason for the Report>. You can also post screenshots of the player hacking onto the Report a Hacker section on the forum.
NOTE: Please do NOT report a player when a staff member is on. Instead, simply private message the staff member with the appropriate information.
Spawn killings are recording in the server logs, however, if the player was unsuccessful in killing you, you can use our
.report feature. Consult the question above for more information.
You should talk to one of the owners about this issue and only one of the owners. Do NOT try to pick a fight with the Admin. It might only make the issue worse.
We Restart the server hourly. Restarts are used to be able to kick AFK players from the server, to try to reduce the lag that the server might currently have, to clear entities that did not despawn from chunks properly, to unload chunks that did not properly unload, and to Reset the area around Spawn, ensuring that Spawn looks good for new players coming onto Vnlla.
If your house keeps disappearing on the server it is probably because you have built too close to the Spawn Building. During our hourly Restarts, we reset the four region files surroudning the Spawn Building, back to the original state we have saved in our backups. So, building in that area would mean that your house would disappear after a Restart.
You should report this to an operator. Please have the coordinates of your Home's location ready by your side.
NOTE: ALWAYS write down your Home's coordinates on a piece of paper or in a document on your computer. This way you never forget where your Home is located.
Just simply retype
.sethome 2 if you are a VIP) in the chat when you have the appropriate number of levels to reset your Home.
Here is a link to our custom resource pack. Download Resource Pack
The pack comes with custom sounds along with some translated languages to translate the text on the screen for our player's convience. If you would like to add a new language to the pack, please private message SnowProper on the forum.
